No one understands me

I missed the opportunity to go out with my wife and friends last night because I had to work off my ever expanding to-do list. There’s the iviralbuzz.com membership that I needed to get online. Futuremarketingblueprint.com needed some attention and various other offers that I wanted to get out to my list.
Funny thing is, no-one my wife spoke to last night ‘got’ why I was working. It just didn’t make sense to them whatsoever. Here’s a snippet of one of many conversations she had: (loud bar background scenerio)
Friend: Where’s Jerry?
My wife: He’s working
Friend: What?
My wife: He’s working
Friend: eh? Why is he working, it’s Saturday
My Wife: He’s working on Internet Marketing stuff or something. It’s cool.
Friend: Yeh but why?
My wife: It’s his business, he has to catch up with stuff.
Friend: Is he loaded?
I laughed when I heard that one. If only it were so simple! Listen I would love to have had a night out, and maybe you think I’m sad but this is what it’s about, sometimes you have to work the grindstone and get it done. Mind you 16 hours straight isn’t kind on the eyes, but at least it means I can take it a bit easier today, (but only a bit)
