During the last few months I’ve been pretty focused on the relaunch of our integrated design, digital and marketing agency Code 9. We’ve been road-mapping where we want to be going and the vision for our business.

Looking at the big picture sometimes involves getting away from the PC/mac/office/bedroom with a notepad and just writing down your vision, your priority list and what (correct) action is needed to get there. Believe me taking the wrong action will teach you many things but will slow you down bigtime.

A few thoughts on focusing on your vision and business building in the video below :-)

    Hi Jerry,

definitely agree on your thoughts about the need for having a vision, (strategic) goals, a roadmap and staying focused to reach you (business) goals.

All the best for you and Code 9.

    Michael

    Jerry,

This was good thanks, we all need that motivation for sure, even one thing a day is a start, I agree.

What do you think about partners and people within your business. Partner up with them, give them a percentage?

    Thanks
    Clive

Hi Clive – It really depends on what your business model is. Marketers creating Info products often team up and split their
profits down the middle. Teaming up with someone that compliments your skills
    is definately a good idea!

if you can afford to outsource, go for that, but if you find the right person, make a deal :-)
