<description>This is an excellent post, and strategy. As a matter of interest was there a reason you created a remote WordPress blog rather than Blogger?

Do you ever use Hub Pages?

..still #1, #2 in UK :-) with some video results at #3 and #4 (url appears in description anyway) and my blog at #8

<description>These are great points. It won&#039;t hold up though. Google gives an artificial ranking for newer sites before it figures out where they should be (but you already know that). Still, it is something that most people have no clue about.

If the keyword is under served (brand new at least to google) then the chances for ranking quickly are very good. For example, although your keyword has 5 million plus results, your direct competition for BOTH WORDS is actually much lower. Simply by making using both words in the title tag, you have upended most of the indirect competition.

Obviously, the domain name is important, especially for product launches because it is the first **hint** that google gets as to where and how to categorize your site.

You could probably maintain your position by writing a few articles in the article directories and finding other places to place your link (with the proper anchor text of course). Of course, you probably know all of this.

Once again, congratulations and great post for the newbies out there that see SEO as some type of weird voodoo.
